Creating a Playlist

The Playlist panel is where you create loops of contents that you can either use in a Template or in the Scheduling grid. There are a couple of ways to create a playlist as shown below.

Option 1: +PLAYLIST button

In the Playlist panel, find and click the +PLAYLIST button.
A new Playlist window will appear. Specify the playlist Name.
Define the playlist configuration:
- General
- Playback Options
- Role
- Restrictions
After adding the playlist name and updating the playlist configuration, click OK.

Option 2: Right-click in the Playlist window

Point your cursor in the Playlist panel and Right-click.
A sub-menu will appear. Click the Add Playlist option to select.
The Playlist Properties window will appear. Click the Name field and enter the desired playlist name.
Click OK to create a new and empty playlist. You must add content to your playlist before adding it to the Scheduling grid.
Clicking on a playlist name will expand a window showing all the items it contains.

Others Options

When you point your cursor and Right-Click on an existing playlist in the upper panel, a sub-menu with these options will appear:

Add advertising playlist: Use this option to create a new Advertising Playlist.
Duplicate: Creates a duplicate of the current playlist including all settings and content.
Remove: Deletes the playlist from the list.
Edit: Same as double-clicking the playlist symbol or name. Lets the user modify the playlist parameters.
