Adding Content to a Playlist
In this article, you will learn how to upload content to a playlist. In addition, a brief overview of the groups and sub-groups is provided for your reference. When adding content to a playlist, it is important to note that you can add them locally or globally.
Navigating groups and sub-groups
What are Groups and Sub-groups?
The Groups and Sub-groups are found under the PLAYERS panel. A Group is the root level and under it are the Sub-groups. Contents assigned to upper levels are considered global. The higher you add content in the hierarchy, the more shareable it becomes, and contents at the top (root) level can be shared with all the sub-groups below.
Clicking the root level (Group) in the PLAYERS panel will show the level's content library on the right.
Contents assigned to the lowest groups (where the players are located) are considered local. These contents can only be used at the local level.
Clicking on any level below the root in the PLAYER panel will display the level's CONTENT LIBRARY on the right. When you click on a level that hosts players, notice that the PLAYLIST panel also synchronizes.
Adding content
To add local content
- Select the group where players are located in the PLAYER window. The windows on the right will synchronize.
- Drag any content from the library and drop it into the PLAYLIST window. The content will be inserted where you release it.
To add global content
